Back to the Blogging

Its been quite sometime since my last post, so I thought it was about time to get back on the blogging band waggon!

The last few months has been pretty busy, with the usual visits to Scotland for some winter action, and of late there have been some unusual visits to the mournes for some winter action, if only every year was like this!

A few other highlights from the last few months have been enjoying some bluebird days in Scotland, it always very surreal to be climbing in Scotland and be able to chat to your partner as your disappearing up a pitch, its amazing what a difference a lack in wind makes to your day! As well as getting out climbing I was also lucky enjoy to enjoy a week of working with Tollymore in what felt like alpine conditions, with no wind, lots of snow and blue skies, its not too often that sunburn is your biggest concern in Scotland!

Since being back in Ireland I’ve been trying to get out as much as possible, and with the recent dry weather I’ve been lucky enough to not only be getting out paddling but also spending lots of time out on the rock, and with the evenings just getting longer its becoming even easier with the good old after work sessions. I always find spring a great time of year, everyone is getting psyched to get out and there is always a bit of a buzz about the season ahead, hopefully the weather plays ball this year!
