Running every Wednesday night throughout June, July and August, these rock climbing evenings aim to take you into the hills and get you climbing.
Whether you struggle to fit climbing into your weekend, want to try your hand at outdoor climbing without committing to a longer course or simply want to unwind in the hills after a hard day in the office, our rock climbing evenings are just what you’ve been looking for!
Evenings are very informal and are generally run in the Mourne Mountains, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking. Each evening will begin at 7pm in Donard park, where we will discuss a plan for the evening based on the current weather conditions and experience of participants.
Evenings will run every Wednesday throughout June, July, and August.
£40 per session, including any technical equipment needed
£100 for 3 sessions, which can be used any time throughout the summer
For more information or booking contact Jonny Parr climbing.
Due to the limited amount of time available the main focus of the rock climbing evenings is to spend time climbing. Whilst we may cover basic techniques, and personal movement skills, there will be no time spent looking at gear placement, building belays, or lead climbing. These skills are covered in our learn to rock climbing and learn to lead courses.
